Nakia Bowling is the Program Manager for the All 4 You Program, an afterschool unintended pregnancy prevention program, that teaches HIV/AIDS awareness, life skills, employability skills and opportunities for community service to youth, ages 14-19. She has been with NDYFC since March 2013.
Ms. Bowling has B.A. in Mass Communications from South Carolina State University and boost over 15 years’ experience in leadership, communications, and marketing within the nonprofit sector.
Prior to joining the Coalition, Ms. Bowling served as the interim Executive Director of the Carrie Meek Foundation, the Editor of The Miami Times, Public Relations Director for the National WN Foundation in Washington, D.C. Grants Manager for Camillus House, Media Manager for Sonshine Communications and Program Director for M.O.V.E.R.S., Inc.
She is a member of Antioch M.B. Church of Miami Gardens, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, National Association of Black Journalists and a member of the American Grant Writer’s Association. Ms. Bowling is the proud mother of a daughter.
